My life is GOOD.

it's a good thing i bookmarked a lot of granola recipes #andotherrecipesforthatmatter because I'm going on a beach trip on Monday #superpsyched and I wanted to make some buckwheat & quinoa granola; I'll post the recipe if it's good #we'llsee
check out my pinterest boards here!

it's a good thing i have this as my desktop background #becauseilovesomegoodfoodpics
recipes to come; I'm going to do a series on cooking for the family (if you have a crazy family like mine who actually allows their teenage daughter to dream of some crazy combinations)

it's a good thing my readers don't hate hashtags #ordothey?
be sure to comment if i'm driving you insane

it's a good thing I like blogging because many a days I think that these posts are just under-read, wastes of internet space #doyoueverfeellikethat?
you could comment on that too, you know just so I make sure humans are reading my webpages and that those page views my blogger homepage accounts for aren't just some smart monkeys (or apes for that matter (; ) scrolling through the web

it's a good thing I have a high pain tolerance because this bruise looks like it really hurts
with clip-on bike pedals, one must learn to unclip very quickly, or risk falling to the side #canigetanouch

it's a good thing my apetite is raging
because this breakfast was de-molished

it's a good thing I use blogger, because typing this post was super simple and took about five minutos

Using Google+ all the photos from my phone #lazyblogger are instantly uploaded to my Google/Blogger account

it's a good thing i'm going to stop using that sentence starter now(:

but [it was a good thing that] I did find my old iPod nano that I recently found out that you can send in for a free new one (like the brand new nanos!)

that I put on makeup the other day #itmademefeelpretty(:

In case you didn't have anything else to comment on or didn't want to answer those questions above (; Here's one:

WIA Double Trouble(:

So first I was going to do a WIAT (What I ate Tuesday) but then I got bored (it is summertime) and I decided to do a WIAW too (gasp!). So here's my eats from Tuesday and Wednesday; double the fun ;)

Be sure to head on over to Jenn's and check out all the other lovely and creative posts that are linked up today too!

For the fitness aspect I'll share this week's workout a la DailyMile; PS- on which I think you should add me to your friends list, I don't have many friends on there :(

Oh and try that side bar button to do so, let me know if it works haha

Oh and Velo means cycling (must be French or something? hmm)

So that was Monday, Tuesday and today; for tomorrow I'm going to the XC workouts that my old high school holds (hey; might as well, my old cross-country coach is intense so he always has great workouts planned) and then Friday I was going to do a short swim workout followed by Vinaysa Yoga; one of my latest findings right? ;)

Now onto the Good Eats (hey; you like that show too!?)

Enter breakfast numero uno (before working out):

Tuesday vs. Wednesday
Macho Green Smoothie and a nanner with pb hummus and coconut butter (don't you love to layer pb?)

Mid-breakfasts snack:

Tuesday only
Raspberry Cho with bloobs

Breakfast numero dos (because one just isn't enough for me! I love breakfast foods):

Tuesday vs Wednesday
Chocolate Avocado Powercakeish topped with PB Hummus and a Peanutflour Sauce added midway through (it needed moisture) vs Chocolate Cookies n Cream overnight Quinoa and Buckwheat Porridge with Strawberries and Cherries topped with Freezedried Strawberries, Cacao Nibs, more Chocolate and Cocoa Almonds (anyone want the recipes? Buler?)

Lunch

Tuesday vs Wednesday
Hippie bowl of Quinoa, Red Cabbage, Carrots, Edamame, Cucumber, Curry Tofu topped with Homemade Peanut Dressing, Wasabi Peas and Sunflower Seeds vs an Egg White Scramble with (get ready for this, or feel free to proceed without reading :) haha) Red Cabbage, Arugula, Okra, Carrots, Mushrooms, Spaghetti Squash, Peppers, Broccoli Slaw, a crapload of spices (Parsley, Basil, Garlic Powder, Tumeric, TJ's Everyday Seasoning, Mustard Powder, Smoked Paprika), one Egg, topped with Nooch and this Asian Sweet n Spicy sauce that I love

yeah I may have  gotten a little picture happy; but it was so colorful :)

Snack

Tuesday vs Wednesday
A bowl of Cereal with Blackberries (yes that's a recycled photo; just stay with me here) and some Cherries vs Pumped up Coconut Ice Cream (check out my dessert for the details)

pre and post toppings of course (Peanutflour Candy, Peanuts, Blueberries and Freezedried Blueberries)

Dinner

Tuesday vs Wednesday
A salad with Roasted Veggies (Mushrooms, Peppers, Eggplant, Broccoli) topped with a Laughing Cow Cheese Wedge, Goat Cheese, Sprouts, Mustard and Salsa vs A Grass-Fed Beef Burger  (read: life changing!) with Avocado, Goat Cheese, Sprouts and Lettuce on a plate with Sweet Potato Fries, Tomato slices, Onion Rings, Watermelon and an un-pictured Corn on the Cob

 pre toppings (it was puhr-ty)

I know you love my drawing!

This was the first time my family had tried Grass-fed Beef and we all agreed, it was the best burgers we have ever eaten! I don't know what it is but they tasted different. They had this amazing flavor that I don't even know how to explain (wow that's helpful) haha but seriously YOU MUST TRY THEM! I am not even a big beef person (I don't like steak) but please take my word for it and give them a try :)

Dessert

Tuesday vs Wednesday
Nightly Dessert Mess with Mango, Raspberries, Freezedried Raspberries and Mangoes (man am I spoiled), Chocolate and a Pomegranate Chocolate Vitatop along with a few gummy bears vs that Pumped up Coconut Ice Cream I was talking about from before and Buttered Popcorn

 I like the layers :)

For this I basically took about 1/4 cup of my Coconut Bliss Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream (that is so delicious) and pumped it up by adding Cottage Cheese, Frozen Banana pieces, Applesauce, Almond milk and then blended it. I had some for a snack then (up above) and then blended the rest with more Almond milk and added Spinach  to save for later. I topped it with Sprinkles, my Adora Chocolate Disk and Shredded Coconut.

If you are still with me; Thanks! Love You

Maia says bye too!

Let's Make it into a List

Hey Y'allisn't that just so fun to say? (:

So for todays post I decided to make a list, maybe because I like lists, maybe because I don't know what to blog about or maybe because most importantly it will keep my ramblings to a minimum, take your pick, and hey you could keep reading too if you wanna(:

1.  My eats; I'll keep this short because I have a lot of pics from this past week that I just haven't gotten around to posting (too bad I didn't make the WIAW cut-off haha) But I decided in the future to keep these pictures at a minimum because I know everyone gets tired of drooling over my food porn
insert sarcastic sigh here, I realize not all my eats are the prettiest, but they are yummy!
Instead I'll just post for an occasional WIAW, recipes or pictures that are too darn gorgeous to keep from you guys!

Yes that is an adora calcium disk that I used as my ice cream topper(:

If you haven't already you should try these veggie souffles from Garden Lites, they are super tasty and take like 3 minutes in the microwave (I think they also come in broccoli, zucchini and mixed)

I know the picture on the right is just lovely right; but for these sweet potato fries I used a spiralizer to make them curly-ques! So cute!

I've been lovin' shredded coconut as an oatmeal topper(:

2. I went up to Boone, NC this past weekend with my friend to surprise my dad after he rode a 100 mile race (seriously, he is a crazy biker!) He was definitely shocked to see me but the drive up was fun and he even took us out to lunch(:

A funky burrito from a place called Black Cat; it was called "Peanut Satay Burrito" and it had broccoli, carrots, chicken and a peanut sauce

3. I plan on making these as soon as possible

source
4. I entered a giveaway here to win a Whole Foods giftcard because it is a blessing that I don't have one near me, but look-out because there is one in New Orleans #herecomestrouble #imgonnabebrokeinnotime

5.  I've been babysitting like a mad lady recently; but thats not an issue because I need the money to keep rolling in (haha, like I said, I have expensive foodie habits)

Haha look at her nose!

6. I have been doing things other than taking pictures of food and babysitting, I've been going to the pool frequently and trying to read my summer reading (ugh) but it's really hard to get into. Especially when your friends want to do more talking than actual tanning and lounging(: I still love them, don't worry!

7. It's been hot hot hot! But I'm still walking the dog and trying to stay in the sunshine (to get a nice tan of course) well; tan for me at least(:

Okay so it wasn't that hot when I walked the dog and the temperature went down after I began driving, but still! I think it's been hotter everywhere so I'm sure you guys understand(: right?

I'll leave with with the lucky number seven, but look out for my Foodie Penpal reveal post tomorrow and a recap of my June Powermeal a day challenge!

Love(:
